Summary of 2017 HKDSE Results

  1. The average passing percentages in all 19 subjects taken were higher than 95%, and the passing percentages of 9 subjects were even 100%. Moreover,

    the percentages of Level 2 in 18 subjects;
    the percentages of Level 3 in 13 subjects;
    the percentages of Level 4 in 12 subjects were far above the Hong Kong standard.

  2. 2The average percentages of Level 2 and Level 3 in the core subjects, Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies, were 90% and 60% respectively. The percentages were above the Hong Kong standard.
  3. The percentage of level 2 or above in 5 subjects was more than 80% which was far above the Hong Kong standard.
  4. The percentage of meeting the entrance requirements of Hong Kong tertiary institutes was above 70% which was above the Hong Kong standard.

Summary of 2016 HKDSE Results

  1. The percentages of Level 2 in 16 subjects taken were higher than that of the Hong Kong standard.
  2. Of these 16 subjects, the average percentages of Level 2 and Level 3 were 94% and 71% respectively. The percentages were far above the Hong Kong standard.
  3. Moreover, the percentages of Level 4 in 11 subjects were above the Hong Kong standard.
  4. The average percentages of Level 2 and Level 3 in the core subjects, Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies, were more than 90% and 60% respectively. The percentages were far above the Hong Kong standard.
  5. The percentage of level 2 or above in 5 subjects was 90% which was far above the Hong Kong standard (74%).
  6. The percentage of meeting the entrance requirements of Hong Kong tertiary institutes was above 80% which was far above the Hong Kong standard (70%).

  1. The percentages of Level 2 in 18 out of 19 subjects taken were higher than that of the Hong Kong standard.
  2. Of these 18 subjects, the average percentages of Level 2 and Level 3 were 95% and 75% respectively. The percentages were far above the Hong Kong standard.
  3. Moreover, the percentages of Level 4 in 11 subjects were above the Hong Kong standard.
  4. The average percentages of students obtaining Level 2 and Level 3 in the core subjects (Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies) were above 90% and 60% respectively. These percentages were far above the Hong Kong standard.
  5. The percentage of level 2 or above in 5 subjects was 90%, far above the Hong Kong standard (73%).
  6. The percentage of students meeting the entrance requirements of Hong Kong universities was about 50%, far above the Hong Kong standard (35%).
