Our sponsoring body, the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, has now been serving the community for 115 years. To celebrate this momentous milestone, the Association hosted the 115th Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony and Parade on 20th March. Our school had more than 40 teachers and students attending this amazing event.

Over 1,500 people participated in the grand parade which commenced at Tung Fong Street, adjacent to the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong headquarters. The parade marched through Nathan Road and Canton Road before reaching
the historic clock tower by the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. The drizzle did not dampen the high spirit and enthusiasm of the participants. The service centers of the Association put on a variety of performances and our students performed a cheerleading dance. Those performances attracted thousands of spectators, and many were snapping photos of the dance.

The parade took about 2.5 hours to finish. All those participated felt their hearts were being united, and they thoroughly enjoyed their time together. We sincerely hope this event will bring happiness and infuse much positive energy into our community.
